Create a Myspace Event

Use this tutorial to create a Myspace event which will invite all or some of your friends to vote for your songs on Zoxsy.

Step 1

After you've logged in click "More" from the top control bar on your myspace page. Then select "Events".

Title your event and click next. Our suggested title is:

Step 3

Next enter the details for your event.
The "what" is already entered. There's no need to enter a category.

For "where", enter this link http://zoxsy.com/?page=People&id=1 but make sure to replace the 1 at the end with your own personal Zoxsy ID number. You can find it by logging in to Zoxsy and copying the number at the end of the URL on the first page you come to after you've logged in. Don't check the box "specify and address?". You'll also want to change "my name" to your own name to make it more personal.

For "when" select a date about a week out so people have time to get their email and vote

The "host" is you

I'm competing in a contest for a huge amount of free promotion on Zoxsy.com and need your help to win. All you need to do is create an account on Zoxsy and vote for my songs - it'll only take a couple minutes. The last winners had an average of only like 20 votes, so with your help we have a really good chance of winning. Just click the link below to create a free account. After you're logged in you can click the link below again to go straight to my page or just search for my name in the top search bar. Thanks! http://zoxsy.com/?page=People&id=1

Don't forget to change the number at the end of this link too to the personal zoxsy ID number you found earlier for the other link.
You should also make sure the four boxes under "optional" on the right side of the page are checked.
You'll also want to make sure the event is public, not private. None of the options under "more options" should be checked.
Click save and continue.

Step 4

Upload a photo if you want or just click "save and continue"

Step 5

Now select the friends you want to invite. It will take about 3 minutes per thousand friends to complete this stage.

Step 6

You're event is now complete. To increase your chances of sucess make sure to answer any questions about the event promptly and encourage your friends to invite their friends to the event as well.
